Hmm..so up until now, I haven't even given a PD or the PDs (all 7 of them) a mention. I generally try to pretend they don't exist (live in hope and all that). With members (baked beans) dropping like flies, it's not so hard but with Mary 'Head Bean' Harney still propping up the health system, it's hard to avoid them completely. You see baked beans and mushy peas don't really go together, do they ? Unfortunately though, we're lumped side by side on the plate of Irish politics. We've just gotta hope our juices don't mix, cause how disgusting would that be ? We've got our own unique flava. One which is going down well :)

This past week saw the media say 'ta-ta and bye-bye' to Bertie as we know him...or as you know him, I should say. You know him as Bertie Ahern, the teflon Taoiseach. I know him as the Lemon Juice sprinkled upon The Cod, that sits beside me, the Mushy Pea, on the plate of Irish politics. Ol' Lemon Juice is not a bad fella. Corrupt maybe ? The tribunal is out on that one...but overall, his charmisa and funny gaffes have made The Cod that bit more palatable this past decade or so.
